Job Description:

Senior Branch Network Management Trainee position with Wells Fargo in the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This is an interim non-exempt position that requires completion of the Branch Manager Readiness program. Responsible for leading a team, driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and compliance with banking regulations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, manage and develop a diverse team of direct and indirect reports
  • Execute policies and procedures in alignment with applicable regulations
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for the branch
  • Coach bankers to engage customers and build relationships
  • Resolve customer and employee experience issues
  • Identify opportunities for making banking easier through digital education
  • Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders and internal partners
  • Mentor and guide talent development
  • Assist in hiring talent
  • Offer/negotiate terms for dwelling secured transactions

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports
  • Ability to build and inspire a team
  • Ability to analyze performance and execute business plans
  • Exercise independent judgement and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with affluent, high net worth, and small business customer segments
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships
  • Extensive experience in identifying complex financial needs
  • Ability to lead a team to influence and educate customers on digital banking
  • Knowledge of banking industry laws, regulations, compliance controls, and risk management
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism
  • Relevant military experience
