Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee (SAFE) for National Branch Network. This is an interim non-exempt position until certification of program completion. Successful completion leads to transition into Associate Branch Manager or Branch Manager role. Responsible for leading, managing and developing teams, creating engagement culture, driving business growth while ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, manage and develop a diverse team of direct and indirect reports
  • Create a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment
  • Lead customer engagement process and coach to specific behaviors
  • Drive accountability for operational excellence
  • Execute policies and procedures in alignment with regulations
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources
  • Resolve low to moderately complex issues
  • Identify opportunities for making banking easier through digital options
  • Engage stakeholders and build strong partnerships
  • Mentor and guide talent development

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • SAFE registration at the time of employment
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
  • Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months
  • Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports
  • Ability to build and inspire a team
  • Ability to analyze performance and execute business plans
  • Exercise independent judgement and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with affluent, high net worth, and small business customer segments
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships
  • Extensive experience in identifying complex financial needs
  • Ability to lead a team to educate customers on digital banking
  • Knowledge of banking industry laws and regulations
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism
  • Relevant military experience

Nice to have:

  • Experience and knowledge in coaching across customer segments including affluent, high net worth, and small business
  • Relevant military experience including working with military protocol and instructions, enlisted evaluations, officer/leadership reporting
