Job Description:

Senior Branch Network Management Trainee position with Wells Fargo in Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This is an interim non-exempt position requiring completion of Branch Manager Readiness program. Responsible for leading, managing and developing teams to drive business growth while ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, manage and develop a diverse team of direct and indirect reports
  • Create a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment to business outcomes
  • Lead customer engagement process and coach behaviors that enhance customer experience
  • Drive growth in the business while ensuring operational excellence
  • Execute policies and procedures in alignment with applicable regulations
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for the branch
  • Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding customer and employee experience
  • Identify opportunities for making banking easier through digital education
  • Engage stakeholders, peers, and internal partners to deliver customer-centric experience
  • Mentor and guide talent development and assist in hiring

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports
  • Ability to build and inspire a team
  • Ability to analyze performance and execute business plans
  • Exercise independent judgement and critical thinking skills
  • Experience and knowledge in coaching across customer segments including affluent, high net worth, and small business
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, internal partners and within the community
  • Extensive experience in identifying complex financial needs to provide relevant options to customers
  • Ability to lead a team to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance controls, risk management and loss prevention
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism
  • Relevant military experience
  • SAFE registration required
  • Ability to work Saturdays
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time during first 6 months

Nice to have:

Relevant military experience including working with military protocol and instructions, enlisted evaluations, officer/leadership reporting, or military experience working in personnel benefits management
