Job Description:

Senior Branch Network Management Trainee position with Wells Fargo in the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This is an interim non-exempt position that requires completion of the Branch Manager Readiness program as a pre-requisite to transition into a manager role based on branch vacancy.

Job Responsibility:

Lead, manage and develop a diverse team of direct and indirect reports
Lead a highly defined customer engagement process
Execute policies and procedures in alignment with applicable regulations
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for the branch
Coach bankers to engage customers to understand their needs
Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding customer and employee experience
Identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education
Engage stakeholders, peers, and internal partners in collaborating
Mentor and guide talent development
Assist in hiring talent

Requirements:

4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of leadership experience
SAFE registration at the time of employment
Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months

Nice to have:

Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports
Experience and knowledge in coaching across customer segments, including affluent, high net worth, and small business
Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, internal partners and within the community
Extensive experience in asking questions and identifying complex financial needs
Knowledge and understanding of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance controls, risk management and loss prevention
Relevant military experience
