Job Description:

Senior Branch Network Management Trainee position for National Branch Network as part of Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This is an interim non-exempt position until certification of program completion and placement into a branch. Successful completion of Branch Manager Readiness program is required to transition into Associate Branch Manager or Branch Manager role.

Job Responsibility:

Lead, manage and develop a diverse team of direct and indirect reports
Execute policies and procedures in alignment with applicable regulations
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for the branch
Coach bankers to engage customers to understand their needs
Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding customer and employee experience
Identify opportunities for making banking easier through digital options
Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders and internal partners
Mentor and guide talent development

Requirements:

4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
2+ years of leadership experience
SAFE registration at time of employment
Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during first 6 months
Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports
Ability to build and inspire a team
Exercise independent judgement and critical thinking skills
Experience with affluent, high net worth, and small business customer segments
Experience building and maintaining effective relationships
Knowledge of banking industry laws and regulations
Military experience considered relevant

Nice to have:

Experience and knowledge in coaching across customer segments including affluent, high net worth, and small business
Ability to lead a team to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology
Relevant military experience
