Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee (SAFE) for National Branch Network. This is an interim non-exempt position. Successful completion of the Branch Manager Readiness program is required to transition into a manager role. Branch Managers are responsible for leading, managing and developing a diverse team, creating a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment to business outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

Lead, manage and develop a diverse team of direct and indirect reports
Coach bankers to engage customers to understand their needs and build relationships
Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding customer and employee experience
Identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through digital options
Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners
Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring

Requirements:

4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
2+ years of leadership experience
SAFE registration at the time of employment
Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months

Nice to have:

Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports
Experience and knowledge in coaching across customer segments, including affluent, high net worth, and small business
Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, internal partners and within the community
Extensive experience in asking questions and identifying complex financial needs
Knowledge and understanding of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance controls, risk management and loss prevention
Relevant military experience
