Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee for National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This is an interim non-exempt position. Successful completion of the Branch Manager Readiness program is required to transition into a manager role. Branch Managers are responsible for leading, managing and developing a diverse team, creating a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment to business outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, manage and develop a diverse team of direct and indirect reports
  • Create a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment
  • Lead customer engagement process and coach behaviors for enhanced customer experience
  • Drive growth in the business while ensuring operational excellence
  • Execute policies and procedures in alignment with regulations
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for the branch
  • Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding customer and employee experience
  • Identify opportunities for making banking easier through digital education
  • Engage stakeholders and internal partners to deliver customer-centric experience
  • Mentor and guide talent development and assist in hiring

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports
  • Ability to build and inspire a team
  • Ability to analyze performance and execute business plans
  • Exercise independent judgement and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with affluent, high net worth, and small business customer segments
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Extensive experience in identifying complex financial needs
  • Ability to lead a team to connect customers to technology
  • Knowledge of banking industry laws, regulations, compliance controls, risk management
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism
  • Relevant military experience

Nice to have:

Relevant military experience including working with military protocol and instructions, enlisted evaluations, officer/leadership reporting, or military experience working in personnel benefits management
