Branch Management Apprentice. Permanent - Full time. £competitive + Benefits. 40 hours per week covering opening hours on a rota basis. 3PM finish on a Friday, no weekends! Carlisle. Who we are: We’re BSS, part of the Travis Perkins Group. What you’ll be doing: The successful candidate will undertake a fully funded level 3 management apprenticeship, which will enable them to learn and gain a level 3 qualification during working hours. Duties included, trade counter, warehouse, admin, sales and customer service. Plenty of opportunities for career progression. No weekends, 3pm finish on a Friday. This is your opportunity to be enrolled on our industry leading apprenticeship development scheme enabling you to pour the foundations for a successful career. This is anything but ‘just a job’. You’ll be working whilst completing our bespoke 30 month scheme, giving you the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of our operation, as you move your way across all areas of our Branch and then into management development to give you all the skills to lead a team. For the first year we’ll teach you about our safety first approach, better understand our industry, the market and our business strategy. You'll learn how to sell by providing great service, you’ll gain a deep understanding of our product base and so much more. In the second year, you’ll learn all about your leadership style and how to inspire a team. Your learning will be 'on the job' with time set aside each week to complete any necessary coursework, and there’s no expectation to take work home with you. You’ll have a dedicated apprenticeship coach who’ll support you every step of the way and you’ll receive 1:1 coaching, mentoring and technical and skills training to enable you to progress your career with us. At the end of your training, you’ll complete an end point assessment and on successful completion you’ll achieve a L2 Apprenticeship in year 1 and a L3 Apprenticeship in year 2. What’s in it for You?
