Job Responsibility

  • Manage the hire department
  • Be hands on with sales and customer orders
  • Oversee stock management and operations
  • Proactively develop a sale action plan to achieve and exceed the agreed AOP
  • Undertake a full range of managerial duties to ensure effective utilisation of all resources
  • Oversee that plant and all tools are properly maintained and kept in perfect working order within health and safety requirements and with correct documentation

Requirements

  • Ability to work well with the branch team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sales experience (ideal)
  • Good working understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment gained within the Hire industry or similar environment
  • Completion of a 12-month training programme for new starters
