With trade counters throughout the UK, we offer a wide range of trusted products to retail, trade and distribution clients, whilst providing exceptional service, and competitive pricing to help you win more business, streamline installations, and maximise your profits. We are now looking for a Branch Assistant at our Doncaster Branch to contribute to the overall success of the branch. Working Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm and Fri 7:30am-3:30pm. The successful candidate will work in line with the scheduled rota, placing a strong emphasis on providing outstanding customer service. They will work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold consistently high service standards. With pride in their branch, they will contribute to its upkeep and presentation, supporting team members as needed. Customer-focused and professional, they will recognise the importance of representing the Company positively at all times.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain the customer database and ensure that information is kept up-to-date and accurate
Assist with end of day banking and reporting
Maintain branch standards in terms of organisation, efficiency and cleanliness
Ensure that customers are kept updated about all relevant information including orders, quotes and promotions
Assist the manager in the collation and delivery of information when requested
Assist customers with all aspects of their account
Accept cash payment from customers in line with Company standard, as and when required
Ensure the understanding and achievement of branch KPI targets as determined by the branch manager
Ensure sufficient knowledge of products on offer as well as any Company or branch promotions
Proactively drive sales and opportunities in branch through prospecting and touching base with existing or lapsed customers
Be an ambassador of the Company and act accordingly
Act as buddies and mentors to new colleagues, not just in branch but across the Company
Own customer experience from initial enquiry through to installation
Use industry specific software to generate customer quotes
Ensure efficient stock management and avoid any unnecessary storage of goods
Deliver excellent customer service in line with the Company’s vision – we want our customers to be “sorted”
Pick stock and organise loads for dispatch
Ensure compliance with Company procedures and processes
Work in a safe and responsible manner
Perform any other reasonable instruction
