Branch Assistant/Van Driver

• Safely operate company vehicles in line with legal requirements
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report defects
• Secure all loads and ensure accurate delivery documentation
• Deliver products to customers, obtaining signatures for all deliveries
• Keep vehicles clean, tidy, and roadworthy at all times
• Serve customers in the branch, providing advice and assistance
• Prepare stock for delivery and support with warehouse organisation
• Assist with loading vehicles and operating fork trucks (with certification)
• Receive goods inwards, checking quantities, condition, and accuracy
• Carry out stock checks and support periodic stocktakes
• Maintain showroom and warehouse standards in line with health & safety requirements

• A valid UK driving licence
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A smart, professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Flexible approach to supporting different areas of branch operations

Forklift truck certification is desirable (training can be provided)
