Job Description:

Hayley Dexis is looking for Two Branch Apprentice’s to join our team based at our Shrewsbury. Hayley Dexis is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables (hydraulics, bearings, fasteners, fluid power, PPE, tools, lubricants etc) in the UK. This role is ideal for candidates who have an interest in gaining valuable experience, learning our business and gaining a well-rounded understanding of what we do. Following successful completion of the apprenticeship, the expectation is that you will have a preference towards Customer Services / Internal Sales or more Warehouse focused.

Job Responsibility:

  • Rotate around all areas from the Warehouse, Trade Counter and Internal Sales
  • Learn all about the products we supply and the services we offer
  • Warehousing duties: goods in and out, stores management, system learning, keeping things clean and tidy
  • Office and trade counter duties: serving customers, answering the phone and emails, dealing with enquiries, chasing up parts and orders, learning systems and processes

Requirements:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Able to travel to work and based locally
  • No prior experience required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Logical thinking skills and keen attention to detail
  • Well-presented and enthusiastic about building a career
