Job Description:

Hayley Dexis is looking for an Office Apprentice to join our team based at our Southern Branch based in West Thurrock. This is a fantastic role where you’ll learn all areas of administration support that the branch needs from customer service to sales administration and system learning. Successful candidates will undertake an apprenticeship in Customer Service or Business Administration the level will depend on what current level of qualification you have achieved already so we are open to any level. Study and coursework hours will be offer within the working day and the duration of our apprenticeships of typically 1 – 2 years.

Job Responsibility:

  • Learn all aspects of who we are as a business, the products we supply and the services we offer
  • Learn all areas of administration support that the branch needs from customer service to sales administration and system learning
  • Dealing with customer emails, chasing orders and learning how to put orders on the systems
  • Answering the phone and learning how to deal with different enquiries

Requirements:

  • A keen interest in business / administrative duties
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths ideally at L4 or above
  • Able to travel to work and based locally
  • No prior experience required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Logical thinking skills and keen attention to detail
  • Well-presented and enthusiastic about building a career

  • A current Journeyman Electrician license, a current Master Electrician license, or equivalent Union membership in good standing. A Journeyman license requiring less than 8,000 hours or of the Residential type shall not be considered.

  • Supervise and perform hands-on diagnosis, repair, and scheduled Preventative Maintenance on existing systems, equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure
  • Supervise and install fixtures, wiring conduits, motors and other electrical equipment
  • Supervise and inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components
  • Interpret, explain to subordinates and accomplish tasking working from verbal information, schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, documents, vendor/manufacturer manuals, and applicable electrical specifications and codes
