Job Description:

The Medical Records Coding Associate is a vital role responsible for accurately coding healthcare diagnoses and procedures. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in healthcare BPO, with a strong understanding of ED coding and procedure codes. Flexibility in shift timings and availability for overtime is essential. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the accuracy of medical documentation and coding processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • The coder reads the documentation to understand the patient's diagnoses assigned
  • Transforming of healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes
  • Creating uniform vocabulary for describing the causes of injury, illness & death is the role of medical coders
  • Medical coding allows for Uniform documentation between medical facilities
  • The main task of a medical coders is to review clinical statements and assign standard Codes

Requirements:
