The Medical Records Coding Analyst is a vital role that involves transforming healthcare documentation into standardized codes. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in healthcare BPO, specifically in EM outpatient coding, and hold a CPC certification. Strong communication skills and flexibility in shift timings are essential for success in this position.

Job Responsibility:

  • The coder reads the documentation to understand the patient's diagnoses assigned
  • Transforming of healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes
  • Creating uniform vocabulary for describing the causes of injury, illness & death
  • Review clinical statements and assign standard Codes
  • Highlights documentation deficiency
  • Play SME role for freshers

Requirements:

  • 3+ Year of experience in any Healthcare BPO
  • CPC CERTIFIED
  • Good knowledge in EM outpatient coding and multispecialty + Procedure codes
  • 1+ year(s) of experience using a computer with Windows PC applications
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts from Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST
