The Associate Director in BPO will lead sales enablement and support for medical coding services, requiring over 10 years of experience in the US healthcare domain. The role demands expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards, along with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. A bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or Life Sciences is required, with a master’s preferred. The candidate will mentor the sales support team and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with the sales team to develop compelling proposals, RFP responses, and presentations for medical coding services
Provide subject matter expertise on US healthcare coding standards, compliance, and industry best practices
Assist in pricing strategies, cost estimation, and solution design for prospective clients
Participate in client calls and meetings to articulate service offerings and address technical queries
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly
Analyze industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to support strategic decision-making
Identify new opportunities for growth within the medical coding domain
Mentor and guide the sales support team to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
Collaborate with operations, quality, and compliance teams to align service capabilities with client expectations
Ensure all proposals and solutions adhere to HIPAA, CMS, and other regulatory requirements
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and payer guidelines
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred)
10+ years of experience in US healthcare domain with strong exposure to medical coding services
Proven track record in sales support, pre-sales, or business development within healthcare outsourcing
In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding standards and compliance frameworks
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Nice to have:
Experience working with US healthcare providers, payers, or RCM companies
Familiarity with sales CRM tools and proposal management systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
