Job Description

Redcape Hospitality is seeking a driven, passionate & caring people centric individual to join our Leadership Team as our Bottle Shop/Retail Manager. You would lead your collective Team to successfully operate the Bottle-O in a role that combines both FOH & BOH duties.

  • Leading the Bottle Shop Team, as we strive to offer outstanding customer experiences
  • Ensuring we maintain exceptional venue standards in relation to cleanliness and presentation
  • Creating and nurturing a positive work environment so that all team members can thrive
  • Driving financial performance through the enhancement of staff & customer experience

Requirements

  • Experience in the same or similar role is a mandatory requirement
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • A genuine focus and appreciation for quality service and customer experience
  • A sincere and deliberate focus on building rapport with guests
  • An enthusiastic, positive and outgoing attitude
  • High level of listening skills coupled with the ability to take direction well
  • High standard of physical fitness & manual handling as it can be a physically demanding role. Coupled with the ability to complete tasks that require heavy lifting which may be repetitive in nature, working unsupervised and within WHS guidelines
  • Full or flexible availability to fulfil a variety of rotating rostered shifts including opens, mids, closes, weekends and public holidays in conjunction with the Bottle Shop's operating hours
  • Proven track record with leading teams
  • Focused on driving performance
  • Accountable and responsible
  • Understands business strategies
  • Holds a current/valid RSA certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Forklift License (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Computer skills that translate to communicative requirements and effective stock management

  • Expert level to inspect, analyze and evaluate electrical and environmental systems malfunctions, aircraft heating/air conditioning, avionics cooling, cabin pressure, OBOGS, fire and overheat detection systems, AC power system, DC power system, external power system, lighting system to include, exterior, interior, emergency, position lights, anti-collision, formation, slipway lights, taxi light
  • Remove install, adjust, operational check, bench-check, service the following: landing gear system, handle, control switches, arresting hook indication/canopy indication/overheat fire/master caution/fuel warning and control systems, anti-skid, brake holding, nose gear steering, secondary flight control, engine bleed air, fire extinguishing system, squibs, fire bottles, start and ignition/air conditioning/pressurization systems and liquid cooling systems
  • Interprets inspection findings and determines adequacy of corrective actions
  • Reviews maintenance management publications, time compliance technical orders and procedures for accuracy and currency, confirms corrective actions and accuracy of aircraft maintenance records
