To further strengthen our Global Legal Team, we are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support and drive some of our most strategic, creative and high-impact initiatives. In this role, you will act as a trusted legal advisor to the business, working closely with Marketing, PR, Licensing and Creative teams. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing legal matters end-to-end while reporting to the Head of Legal – Marketing Communication & Licensing. You will be responsible for providing proactive, solution-oriented legal advice, ensuring compliance while enabling business objectives in a fast-paced and highly creative environment.
Job Responsibility
Manage the drafting, review and negotiation of a wide range of complex commercial agreements on a global scale, including: Image rights agreements (e.g. talents, models, photographers, videographers)
Production and music agreements for advertising campaigns, digital content, fashion shows and special projects
Co-branding, licensing and IP-driven partnerships, including product compliance and distribution matters
Sponsorship, ambassadorship and cultural collaboration agreements
Lead end-to-end management of complex projects, including fashion shows
Provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders on marketing, communication and creative initiatives, balancing legal risks with business needs
Conduct IP assessments and clearances, ensuring that all necessary rights are secured on a worldwide basis
Manage projects autonomously, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to support timely execution and delivery
Identify and mitigate legal and reputational risks, including in high-visibility campaigns and international projects
Requirements
Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Italy
Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial law and intellectual property, gained in law firms and/or in-house legal departments
Fluent in Italian and English, with excellent drafting and negotiation skills
Proven ability to manage complex matters independently and interact confidently with senior stakeholders
Business acumen, pragmatic mindset and ability to provide clear, actionable advice
Highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
