We are currently seeking a EMEA Men’s and Women’s RTW Merchandiser as part of our dynamic team in Milan.
Job Responsibility:
Define the men’s and women’s RTW (Ready to Wear) short- and long-term regional strategy to develop the category and maximize the business
Prepare and guide the Showroom buying sessions to build the most relevant and tailored store assortments customizing the selections based on specific market needs
Develop a strong partnership with Global Retail Merchandising team to translate the Global strategy into regional actions constantly sharing market needs and feedback
Weekly/Monthly sales reporting and elaboration of business update reports to evaluate merchandising actions and optimize assortments and stock
Monitor inventory, deliveries and reordering situations to ensure appropriate levels of stock are maintained across the network
Continuous day-to-day connection with Store Managers and Retail Manager to reply to store needs in the fastest way
Monitor sales and sell-through situations and initiate appropriate strategies and tactics to boost sales and optimize stock. (eg: store-to-store transfer, regional stock consolidation, product push.)
Collaboration with Visual and Training Teams to support the regional needs, sales, store set-ups and ad-hoc displays
Market visits, focusing on both DOS stores and competitors
Competitive and market trend analysis
Requirements:
Strong Retail Merchandising & Buying experience: at least 3 years in a similar role
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power point
Strong analytical skills
Luxury market knowledge, preferably on Europe and Middle East
Confidence in presenting to large groups
Passion for product, preferably experiences in RTW
Ease in working in a fast-changing environment
Flexibility
Collaborative team player
Excellent English
Travel flexibility to different destinations
