Botanical Horticulturist - Propagator

An exciting opportunity for maternity cover fixed term appointment in Wakehurst’s Conservation and Research Nursery. We are looking for a proactive, motivated individual to join our dynamic team working alongside skilled Horticulturalists, apprentices and volunteers. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with a diverse range of temperate plants from around the world set in the beautiful landscape of Wakehurst, Sussex. During the contract, the nursery will be relocating to a new adjacent glasshouse facility onsite, so we are seeking someone adaptable, practical, and ready to take on a wide variety of tasks, both independently and as part of a team to support this work.
