Job Description

As a Bot Developer in the Conversational Intelligence Chapter, your primary responsibility is to build and fine-tune our chat and voice bots. You implement complex logic, connect to backend systems via APIs, and ensure the smooth operation of our conversational platforms. Your work enables scalable, high-performance experiences by optimizing bot architecture and automating processes. Closely collaborating with Bot Conversational Designers, Language Technology Engineers, and API Engineers in a multi-disciplinary agile team, you bring conversational flows to life through reliable and robust implementations.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain chat and voice bots to enhance conversational intelligence capabilities
  • Implement cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to ensure a dynamic and user-friendly interaction
  • Utilize Microsoft Composer to craft sophisticated and context-aware dialogues that align with user needs and business objectives
  • Develop and integrate variables containing object information from backend databases. Refactor variables and craft regex rules
  • Conduct rigorous testing of conversational interfaces to ensure a high level of performance, accuracy, and user satisfaction. Identify and address any issues related to language understanding, intent recognition, and overall user experience
  • Contribute to expanding and testing existing Bot Framework capabilities, re-usable assets, and solutions
  • Define process specifications, technical requirements, and cooperate with development teams through the development cycle and pre-launch required testing
  • Monitor and debug existing dialogue journeys
  • Create detailed documentation, including technical specifications and user guides, to support the deployment and maintenance of chatbots

Requirements

  • Previous experience with bot frameworks and tools, such as Microsoft Composer, is desirable
  • A degree or background in a technical field is preferred (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering)
  • Ability to integrate bots with external APIs, CRMs and services for enhanced functionality and dynamic responses
  • Experience with Azure platform integrations is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Prompt Engineering with a focus on Conversational AI is considered a plus
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages like JavaScript and/or Python and fundamental software development principles is considered a plus
  • Experience with any type of testing software and/or conversational applications
  • Strong understanding of bot architecture and development best practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Greek & English

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Prompt Engineering with a focus on Conversational AI is considered a plus
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages like JavaScript and/or Python and fundamental software development principles is considered a plus
