This is a permanent role, and we request that you only apply for the position if you can commit to the advertised hours on a permanent basis. We are looking for candidates who will be flexible to work a variety of shift patterns throughout the week. We are looking for candidates who can travel to different stores across a geographical area. This role includes evening shifts. This role includes weekend shifts. We can only consider candidates who are over 18 due to age restrictions for this role. To be eligible for this role, you must hold a full, valid UK drivers license. We are looking for drivers who can be flexible to meet our customers’ needs. Your basic hours will be 7.5 per week, and your days of work will be 5 days Monday to Saturday. You will cover AM, PM, Evenings, Weekend shifts and your normal start and finish times will be 08:45 to 13:00, 13:45 to 17:00 and 17:30 to 20:30. You will be on-call for a further two shifts per week as a minimum, to cover extra deliveries as needed by our customers. The hourly rate for this role is £13.12.
Job Responsibility
Provide outstanding customer care by delivering and collecting medicines from Care Homes, patients at home, GP surgeries and other Boots stores within an allocated route time
Play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries whilst following safety protocols
Build great relationships with store teams, care homes and GP surgeries
Follow standards, operating policies and health and safety procedures
Drive safely and legally
Keep your vehicle maintained and clean, reporting any damage or issues
Feedback relevant customer comments and concerns and make suggestions on how the operation can be improved

Requirements
Minimum of 1 year's driving experience
Able to read and interpret delivery routes and instructions
Enjoy following process and working at pace to achieve service levels and targets
Physical stamina and capability to work in a manually demanding role with heavy lifting
Comfortable using new technology
Calm in the face of unexpected changes or challenges
Comfortable in new situations and meeting new people
Genuine desire to help people and provide legendary care
Full, valid UK drivers license
Over 18 years of age
Flexible to work a variety of shift patterns including evening and weekend
Ability to travel to different stores across a geographical area
Nice to have
Basic numeracy skills
