Job Description

Tax/Bookkeeping Specialist wanted to prepare timely and high quality business and individual returns that exceed client expectations. Key to success in this endeavor is to build client relationships and demonstrate superior tax knowledge to clients. Desire to build on technical competence by keeping current on tax law developments and being able to apply those concepts in practice is a necessity for this position. Must demonstrate a professional, positive and cooperative attitude to contribute to the overall success of the team by utilizing tools to enhance service delivery, actively seeking assignments, and proactively seeking additional opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 2+ years of tax related work experience
  • CPA certificate, EA license or actively pursuing those credentials
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Form 1120, 1120S, 1065, and 1040 and related schedules
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks
  • Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills

Nice to have

Knowledge of Spanish language desirable
