Bookkeeper

• Download and categorize financial transactions for small business clients
• reconcile accounts against bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy
• prepare and present financial statements in a clear and organized manner
• manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes efficiently
• perform month-end close procedures and resolve discrepancies as needed
• conduct payroll calculations and ensure timely processing
• utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update financial records
• handle data entry tasks with precision to maintain accurate records
• collaborate with clients to address financial inquiries and provide excellent service

• Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management
• proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• strong skills in account reconciliation and financial reporting
• knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
• effective interpersonal communication skills and client-facing professionalism
• ability to perform month-end close procedures and resolve discrepancies
• detail-oriented approach to data entry and financial record maintenance
• familiarity with tax consulting or related industries is preferred
