Job Description:

Detail-oriented and meticulous Bookkeeper to join our team. In this client-facing role, you will collaborate with small business clients to manage their financial transactions and ensure accurate reporting. This is a remote, Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within our organization.

Job Responsibility:

Categorize and download financial transactions for client accounts using accounting software
Conduct reconciliations of bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy
Prepare and present financial statements to clients in a clear and precise manner
Collaborate directly with small business clients to address their bookkeeping needs
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes efficiently
Perform payroll processing and ensure timely submissions
Handle month-end close tasks, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date
Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update client financial records
Enter and organize data with precision and attention to detail
Leverage Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis and reporting

Requirements:

Proven experience in bookkeeping
Strong understanding of financial principles
Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with other accounting software
Ability to perform accurate bank and credit card reconciliations
Skilled in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
Competence in month-end close procedures and financial reporting
Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting
Excellent communication skills and professionalism when interacting with clients
