We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware. This is a Contract to permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development. The ideal candidate will manage financial records accurately, support reporting processes, and ensure compliance with accounting standards across multiple entities.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and reconcile general ledgers for various entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
Prepare comprehensive financial statements and management reports
Perform detailed bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations
Support internal accounting processes and contribute to financial reporting tasks
Collaborate with team members to manage multiple client accounts effectively
Address and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly
Provide support for audits and other financial reviews as needed
Requirements:
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online is essential
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel are required
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
Experience in payroll processing and payroll tax management
Ability to efficiently handle multiple client accounts and meet deadlines
Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous growth and development
At least two years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
