Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Elyria, Ohio. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the potential for growth and stability. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting administrative tasks to ensure smooth business operations.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately enter and process bills, ensuring timely payments
conduct regular check runs to maintain organized financial workflows
manage billing processes and verify accuracy in all transactions
record deposits promptly and maintain up-to-date financial records
balance the cash drawer daily to ensure consistency and accuracy
schedule appointments for sales staff, managing calendars effectively
provide general administrative support to streamline business operations

Requirements:

Proficiency in Sage Accounting software
strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
experience with bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
ability to answer inbound calls in a courteous manner and provide support as needed
familiarity with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
previous bookkeeping experience in a detail-oriented environment is preferred
