Our client in Holyoke, MA is seeking a motivated and reliable Bookkeeper to join their team on a contract-to-permanent basis. Job Responsibility:
Reconcile and process approximately 10 transactions per month
Perform basic accounts activities, including reconciling the books and ensuring accuracy of financial data
Maintain and organize financial records and documentation
Assist with preparing reports for management as needed
Support other accounting tasks and general office duties as assigned
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting support role
Proven ability to reconcile accounts and maintain accurate books
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
Professional and reliable demeanor
able to adapt in a business casual environment
