We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a Contract basis in Sellersburg, Indiana. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial record-keeping, utilizing tools like Sage 100 to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and maintaining organized financial documentation.
Job Responsibility:
Record and maintain accurate financial transactions using Sage 100
Manage accounts payable and ensure timely processing of invoices
Oversee accounts receivable, including tracking payments and resolving discrepancies
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with bank statements
Prepare and organize financial reports for internal review and audit purposes
Maintain proper documentation of all financial activities and ensure compliance with regulations
Communicate with vendors and clients to address payment-related inquiries
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly
Collaborate with team members to improve bookkeeping procedures and efficiency
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role
Proficiency in Sage 100 and other accounting software
Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Experience performing bank reconciliations with accuracy
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial records
Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards in bookkeeping
