Job Description:

Meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a team on a long-term contract basis, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting reporting requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments, with precision
Manage and reconcile accounts in the general ledger to ensure accuracy
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations to verify financial data
Assist in payroll processing and ensure compliance with related reporting requirements
Generate detailed financial reports and summaries to support decision-making
Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities to meet deadlines
Organize and maintain financial records in compliance with legal standards
Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial matters
Provide documentation and support to accountants and auditors during financial reviews

Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite, as well as Microsoft Office applications
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
