We are looking for an experienced part-time Bookkeeper to join a growing client of ours in Fort Worth, Texas. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who excels in managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. The role requires proficiency in QuickBooks Online and a strong understanding of account reconciliations, accounts payable, payroll processing in ADP, and preparing financials.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online
Process accounts payable for rent, utilities, and vendor invoices in a timely manner
Open incoming physical mail, handle checks, and input payment details into the system
Perform credit card and bank account reconciliations to ensure records align with statements
Oversee payroll processing, including deductions for 401k contributions
Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial procedures
Generate reports and summaries to support financial planning and decision-making
Monitor cash flow and assist in preparing budgets for operational expenses
Ensure adherence to tax regulations and company policies in all bookkeeping activities
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping with proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Ability to perform accurate bank and credit card reconciliations
Familiarity with payroll processing and handling deductions for employee benefits
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and vendors
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
