We are currently looking for a bookkeeper for a small to medium-sized manufacturing operation located in Hamilton, OH. This contract-to-hire opportunity requires both domestic and international billing, as well as managing accounts receivable and performing bank reconciliations. The role is part-time, 30 hours per week and would be starting at the end of January.
Job Responsibility:
Process and manage customer billing, including generating invoices for domestic and international clients
Track and follow up on accounts receivable ensuring timely collections and accurate application of payments
Reconcile multiple bank accounts regularly, investigating discrepancies and maintaining up-to-date financial records
Communicate with customers and team members regarding billing issues, payment schedules, and account status
Collaborate with management and other departments to support inventory and manufacturing cost accounting as needed
Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards for all transactions
Prepare periodic financial reports related to AR, billing, and reconciliations as requested
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Previous exposure to international billing and currency conversion is strongly preferred
Strong proficiency with accounting software (E2, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar), Microsoft Excel, and online banking portals
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all work
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across teams
Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role
Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes
Experience with Made2Manage | E2 software is required
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting
Ability to handle billing processes with accuracy and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
