We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a team in the Northside area on a contract basis. This role supports day-to-day financial and administrative operations through accurate recordkeeping, billing support, and organized documentation. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with office systems, managing data carefully, and contributing to a well-run business environment.
Job Responsibility:
Assist with billing activities and support the preparation and distribution of invoices in a timely manner
Enter financial and operational information into company records with a high level of accuracy
Keep files, documents, and system data organized, current, and easy to retrieve
Provide front desk and receptionist coverage when needed to support daily office operations
Develop, update, and maintain internal process documentation and administrative procedures
Use Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and related business software to complete bookkeeping and office tasks efficiently
Assist with accounts receivable activities, including tracking outstanding payments and maintaining accurate customer records
Contribute to additional administrative support tasks as assigned while maintaining strong attention to detail
Requirements:
Experience in bookkeeping within an office or business support environment
Working knowledge of QuickBooks and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Familiarity with accounts receivable processes, including billing and invoice support
Strong data entry skills with a consistent focus on accuracy and completeness
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage records and documentation effectively
Ability to handle administrative responsibilities in addition to core bookkeeping duties
Clear, detail-focused communication skills and a dependable approach to team support
