Our client is hiring a Bookkeeper to join their accounting team and provide reliable financial support to a growing organization in San Diego. As companies expand, maintaining accurate and well-organized financial records becomes increasingly important. The Bookkeeper plays a critical role in ensuring that day-to-day financial transactions are recorded properly and that accounting records remain consistent and reliable. This position offers a unique opportunity for a bookkeeping professional who enjoys working with financial data and supporting the accounting department with essential operational functions. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing multiple accounting tasks, assisting with financial documentation, and ensuring that transactions are accurately reflected in the company’s accounting systems.
Job Responsibility:
Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger
Process vendor invoices and assist with payment processing
Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
Assist with month-end closing activities
Maintain financial documentation and filing systems
Support accounting team with reporting and administrative tasks
Requirements:
2–4 years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously
Strong communication and organizational skills
