Bookkeeper opportunity with terrific team in Bohemia area. In this role, you will support accounts payable and accounts receivable & billing functions, reporting to a down to earth manager.
Job Responsibility:
Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
Hands on with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure timely payments and collections
Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies
Utilize QuickBooks to track and analyze financial data effectively
Assist with audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support
Identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting operations
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks software
Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Experience performing bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well both independently as well as with a team
