Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for our team in Austin, Texas. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, processing routine transactions, and helping keep financial data organized and up to date. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with QuickBooks and a strong understanding of payables, receivables, and account reconciliation.

Job Responsibility

  • Record financial transactions accurately and maintain organized bookkeeping records within QuickBooks
  • Manage vendor invoices and payment processing to ensure accounts payable activities are completed on time
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices while tracking incoming payments and following up on outstanding balances
  • Reconcile bank accounts regularly to confirm transaction accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Review financial entries for completeness and consistency, making corrections when needed
  • Assist with routine reporting by compiling account information and supporting documentation for leadership or accounting review

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience performing full-cycle bookkeeping duties in a detail-focused setting
  • Proficiency using QuickBooks for daily accounting and financial record maintenance
  • Working knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice review and payment coordination
  • Working knowledge of accounts receivable tasks, including billing and payment tracking
  • Experience completing bank reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently
