We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis located in the Greater Philadelphia Region. In this role, you will handle essential bookkeeping tasks, ensuring the accuracy and organization of financial records. This Bookkeeper position provides an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in financial systems and data management.
Job Responsibility:
Perform routine bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable management
Reconcile bank statements to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
Transfer and organize financial data between accounting systems accurately and efficiently
Assist in maintaining up-to-date financial records and ledgers
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Input data into accounting software while ensuring high levels of accuracy
Monitor and address discrepancies in financial records promptly
Support the finance specialist with additional bookkeeping and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role
Proficiency in using accounting software like QuickBooks and NetSuite
Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage and transfer data accurately between systems
Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members
Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices
