A growing business in Encinitas is seeking a Bookkeeper to support daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while supporting broader accounting and operational functions.
Job Responsibility
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements
Maintain general ledger activity and accounting records
Assist with invoicing, billing, and payment tracking
Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities
Maintain organized financial documentation and records
Assist with payroll support and expense reporting tasks
Support accounting team with reporting and administrative projects
Requirements
2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience preferred
Strong understanding of AP, AR, and reconciliations
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
