We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina. Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes effectively
Reconcile bank statements to ensure financial accuracy
Perform administrative duties, including scanning invoices and receipts, and supporting project managers
Utilize Procore software to assist with construction-related accounting tasks
Manage payroll and HR-related tasks, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Provide support with accounting functions and generate financial reports as needed
Contribute to the organization’s overall efficiency by taking on additional responsibilities in accounting and administration
Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve processes
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping, with strong knowledge of QuickBooks
Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures
Experience in bank reconciliations and financial reporting
Proficiency in Procore or similar construction accounting software
Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail
Ability to manage payroll and HR-related tasks
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
Previous experience in the construction industry is an advantage
