Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team located in the Greater Philadelphia Region. This is a contract to permanent position where you will play a vital role in managing financial records and ensuring accurate reporting. The ideal Bookkeeper candidate has a strong background in bookkeeping and is proficient in QuickBooks.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain and update accurate financial records, including transactions and account reconciliations
Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide insights into the company's financial health
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently
Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with regulations
Monitor budgets and assist with forecasting to support financial planning
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support preparation for audits
Collaborate with other team members to address financial inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Utilize QuickBooks software to manage all bookkeeping tasks effectively
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency

Requirements:

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role
Proficiency in QuickBooks software is essential
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Familiarity with payroll and tax regulations
Experience in preparing financial statements and reports
