We are looking for a skilled and organized Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Fremont, California. This role involves maintaining precise financial records, managing transactions, and providing general office support. The position offers flexibility with approximately 10 hours per week, making it ideal for someone seeking a part-time opportunity.
Job Responsibility:
Record and reconcile customer payments and bank transactions using QuickBooks Online
Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and consistently updated
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently
Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accuracy in financial reporting
Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, organizing, and data entry
Support the team in improving financial and office workflows
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless financial operations
Prepare reports and summaries as needed for management review
Respond to inquiries related to financial matters promptly and professionally
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping with strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks
Ability to work independently while managing time effectively
Strong organizational skills and adaptability to handle varied office tasks
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
