The Bookkeeper will be the primary person to ensure accurate and timely processing of the accounting operations handling the financial statements and will also process accounts payable and accounts receivables for several entities.
Job Responsibility:
Develop a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts
defining bookkeeping policies and procedures
Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Balance accounts by reconciling entries
Maintain and balance general ledger
Maintain quality historical records by filing documents
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Craft Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received and record deposits
Requirements:
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
4+ years of accounting experience required
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is ideal
Deep understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account/bank reconciliation
Ability to multitask effectively
Outstanding data entry skills
Provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references
