We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Job Responsibility:
Handle daily financial transactions, including processing payments, reviewing collections, and reconciling bank statements
Oversee deposit management for various channels such as banks, PayPal, and checks
Manage vendor statements, ensuring accuracy and resolving unapplied payments
Conduct audits related to workman’s compensation and business tax compliance requirements
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable activities with precision
Maintain accurate records of financial data in QuickBooks
Ensure compliance with local regulations and tax filings
Prepare detailed reconciliations to support financial reporting
Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and improve financial processes
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management
Proficiency in QuickBooks for maintaining accurate financial records
Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Expertise in bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Familiarity with vendor statement management and payment audits
Ability to handle compliance requirements, including workman’s compensation audits
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
