Our client, a well-established CPA firm, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks experience to support a portfolio of small business clients. This role will focus on maintaining accurate financial records, preparing books for tax filings, and working closely with accountants to ensure clients’ financials are organized and up to date.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and manage client books in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)
Record daily financial transactions including AP, AR, bank and credit card activity
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for CPA review
Organize and maintain documentation to support tax filings and year-end close
Work with small business owners to ensure accurate and timely financial data
Requirements:
2+ years of bookkeeping experience
Strong proficiency with QuickBooks
Experience working with multiple small business clients is highly preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal accounting teams
Experience supporting tax preparation or year-end close
