We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will manage critical financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting processes. Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate financial records, including tracking expenses, income, and transactions
Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions in a timely manner
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity
Prepare payroll documentation and oversee payroll processing as required
Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to organize and analyze financial data
Generate financial reports and summaries to support decision-making processes
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial regulations
Review and update accounting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to support financial reviews
Stay updated on industry standards and best practices to enhance accounting operations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping
Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Familiarity with payroll processing and financial reporting tools
