We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in San Clemente, California. In this part time role, you will manage essential financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all bookkeeping operations. As this is a long-term contract position, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all bookkeeping tasks are completed in a timely manner
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently
Handle bank reconciliations to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved
Utilize QuickBooks software to manage and update financial data
Generate and review financial reports to support decision-making processes
Monitor and manage invoices, payments, and outstanding balances
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies
Collaborate with team members to streamline bookkeeping processes and improve efficiency
Address and resolve any discrepancies or errors in financial records
Provide regular updates on financial status to management
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a similar role
Proficiency in QuickBooks software for financial management
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Expertise in performing bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently
Ability to generate and interpret financial reports
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices
