Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Worcester, Massachusetts. Job Responsibility:

Perform accurate and timely reconciliations of bank accounts and financial records
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded properly
Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and organize financial data
Analyze and manipulate data to support financial reporting and decision-making
Assist with special accounting projects as needed to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Prepare and review financial documents to ensure compliance with company policies
Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve accounting issues

Requirements:

Proven experience in bookkeeping with a strong understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
Demonstrated expertise in handling accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to analyze and manipulate financial data effectively
Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members
