We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our consultancy team on a contract basis in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This position offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to work during the day, night, or weekends based on your availability. As a key member of the team, you will play an essential role in managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in all bookkeeping activities.
Job Responsibility:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to maintain accurate financial records
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and internal records
Utilize QuickBooks to record transactions and generate financial reports
Assist with the implementation of new systems or processes as required
Prepare and maintain organized documentation for all financial activities
Support the team with financial analysis and reporting tasks
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Address discrepancies and resolve issues related to financial transactions
Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding financial updates
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping with a solid understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations independently
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members
Availability to work on-site in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
