We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage and maintain accurate financial records for our organization in Rogers, Arkansas. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will play a key part in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations by handling transactions, reconciliations, and reporting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring a high level of precision and organizational skills to the position.
Job Responsibility:
Record daily financial transactions in accounting software, ensuring all entries are accurate and properly categorized
Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger entries, to ensure consistency and resolve discrepancies
Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements promptly while tracking accounts receivable and following up on overdue payments
Assist with payroll processing and ensure payroll-related expenses are accurately recorded and reported
Prepare key financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for management review
Maintain well-organized records of financial transactions to support audits and compliance requirements
Ensure adherence to tax regulations and accounting standards, assisting with tax filing preparations as needed
Support year-end closings by preparing reconciliations, reports, and documentation for audits
Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate degree or certification in Accounting or Finance preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Bookkeeper or similar financial role
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills
Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing and reporting
Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial information
Familiarity with payroll processes and tax regulations is a plus.
