Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced PART TIME Bookkeeper to join our team in Glendale Heights, Illinois. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering the opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations while advancing your career. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.

Job Responsibility:

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and in a timely manner
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between financial records and bank statements
Utilize QuickBooks to organize and track financial data and generate reports
Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in accounts and improve financial processes
Prepare detailed financial reports to support decision-making and compliance requirements
Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with established policies and procedures
Handle sensitive financial data with discretion and maintain confidentiality
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required

Requirements:

Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a solid understanding of financial principles
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software
Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Demonstrated ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in financial records
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion
